-
- Well, here goes. After much mucking about I've managed to make (get)
- Multiview to open on a separate screen when veiwing MIME attached
- jpegs (at least). It *should* work with any file viewed with
- Multiview though.
-
- I reinstalled the original picture.datatype (v39.14) from my WB3.0
- disk and noticed that what I thought was the original picture.datatype
- (that was currently installed) was, in fact, not. I didn't check
- the version number but now remember that the file sizes were
- different. I've installed heaps new(er) datatypes over the past
- couple of years and at some time it's been replaced.
-
- I then installed the JFIF datatype (v39.25) from jfif_dtc.lha AND
- jfif_FIX.lha from Aminet and deleted the old JPEG datatype files.
-
- Now, when I call Multivew from Thor it opens on it's own screen. I
- believe this is what the programmers originally intended to happen. I
- don't believe you can pass any arguments to Multiview from Thor when
- viewing MIME files.

- Seany.
